Mae Young has passed away, days after false reports came out about her passing, at the age of 90. Never seen a tougher old lady than Mae, the bumps she took in her late 70's were incredible

I've always loved the story about after Bubba Ray Dudley powerbombed her through a table, when they went backstage she yelled at him for being to soft on her.

There's an added part that Bully/Bubba told recently that upon landing through the table, Mae let one rip which he said rippled through his nuts lol

Daniel Bryan has a concussion, so that could mean no Rumble win
Could be a big blow that as I doubt he'll be able to recover in 10 days and so he will surely be out of the Rumble. Look at what happened with Ziggler and his concussion killing his push. Obviously Bryan is way more over than Dolph ever was but if he misses the Rumble it could screw him out of what should be a title win at WM30.

Sorry, but just been watching this on Youtube.

The first 4 and a half minutes, exceptional. The greatest wrestling promo ever, proper goosebumbs here.

No need to apologise Cena mate, the whole build up and match itself was fantastic. Definitely one of the best Wrestlemania main events ever

Undertaker Vs HBK at Royal Rumble 98 for me

Watching that I was like, "This wrestling stuff is bloody brilliant!"

What's everyone elses "hook" match?
Warrior v Hogan at Wrestlemania 6 for me. As a PPV as a whole it was Survivor Series 1990 when the Undertaker debuted and they did the Survivors Main event. I didn't see them live as I was too young but my older brothers had the videos so they were the first wrestling experiences I had.

Summerslam 1991: Hulk Hogan & Ultimate Warrior vs Sgt Slaughter & Colonel Mustafa & General Adnan.

First WWF ppv that I went out of my way to see, got my Dad's mate to tape it on Sky Movies Plus, after watching WWF Superstars on Sky One for months (Earthquake squashing Jake Roberts snake, Damian - I vividly recall seeing that angle and being shocked by it). After that I was totally hooked:

I'd been a casual wrestling fan for years earlier though, watching World of Sport as a kid in the 1980s and also taping the late night wrestling on ITV (usually NWA/WCW).

I've never really had a hook match, I just remember being really into wrestling in 93, Bret Hart, early HBK, I loved Razor Ramon and thought people like Jake the Snake and Ultimate Warrior were incredible.

Went off it due to not having Sky, then in the summer holidays, when I finished primary school and was about to start secondary school in 1998, we had Sky Sports for a few months and I remember Fully Loaded PPV was live at 1am. I thought I was dead hard and stayed up all night watching it.

That was me back into wrestling
