GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

You can find just about every PPV you would ever want on the internet for free.

Most of the most recent ones are on YouTube for crying out loud.

I fear change though!

As others have said, there's a massive crackdown coming. WWE have turned a blind eye up to now, but not for much longer. A lot of Youtube stuff is going disappear very soon and new stuff won't be allowed on.

Apparently all the U.S. cable companies are up in arms about the WWE Network plans, because they were the middle man making millions off WWE's ppv business, and traditional WWE ppv through satellite and cable is now going to be dead in the U.S. due to WWE offering it via the streamed Network. This is all going to have massive ramifications. It's the biggest change in wrestling in decades. Plus WWE's tv deals in the U.S. are up for renewal soon and WWE are hoping to double or triple their annual money from the channels that air Raw and Smackdown.

I wonder if other sports may look at the success of this very very closely. Could the Premier League make more money from a PL network with subscriptions and 100% of advertising income?

People can take the piss out of wrestling but marketing-wise and technology-wise they're nearly always ahead of the curve.

They were amongst the first tv shows a few years ago to hammer home Twitter and hashtags during shows, and now it's common place.

Find it funny how to prove a point about wrestling the critics are using gifs from Japanese and Mexican wrestling, two of the countries famous for piss taking moments

Hi mate, what point exactly do you presume it is that I'm trying to make? You seem very touchy when it comes to this wrestling stuff.
