Brock isn't a draw any more though, so I really don't think he justifies the deal, and the fact he chews everyone up doesn't help either

If anything, people are getting sick of him holding the belts hostage for months on end now

He is though mate. If he walked into AEW tomorrow (won't happen thank God!) people would tune in to see what the hell was gonna happen. If he showed up on Impact he'd massively increase their audience. The problem is how he's used, its awful. He's been rammed down everyone's throat for far to long and has become unbearable but he's still a massive draw.

Lets be honest lads WWE never fully recovered from the end of the attitude Era.

They had a good run from about 2000-2005 with the likes of Team Angle vs Lesnar, Big Show & A Train, Benoit, Guerrero etc. But once the PG era came in and Cena was the main man with garbage like a GM talking through a Laptop it all became a bit silly and has been a mess ever since.

Stone Cold was spot on when he said whilst WCW failing was great for WWE it also wasnt as they had no competition to push them/the product on.

I’m dead interested in what the promo that would have gotten people fired and lost all the sponsors would have been

My guess is he was asked to say about Roman Reigns "I hope he dies".... or something to that effect....

I remember the promo he did mention Reigns, saying he's getting what he deserves now.... Was amazed the line was written, was amazed Ambrose said it....was the thing I thought of when I heard Ambrose was quiting, assumed that promo was the main reason (that and just wwe exploiting a real life situation the way they did)....

All fair though. Vince needs to be really careful. Well maybe the people around him need to actually help him. As hard as that might be.

Would like to have found out if he was given more freedom with his promos towards the end to try convince him to stay, thought his promos during his last month were pretty funny... He also got a few backstage promos with HHH.... And told Michael Cole off in his last interview, which wwe could easily have edited out..

They took another sign down saying ‘Save us HHH’.

Sadly for that particular fan I don’t think HHH being in charge will solve matters. I really fear wwe have lost it for a good few years to come now.

Which is why AEW have such a chance here.

But hey. There’s still a Takeover this weekend.

I usually get a few spoilers for these but not had a peep this time.

There’s a few ways it could go.
It could be Undisputed Era’s night and they win everything.
It could be the night they fall apart and lose everything.
But i have a feeling Strong will win, O’Reilly and Fish will win, but Cole will lose. Which will lead to ace TV in the coming weeks.

My only doubt on this is that they might not have Riddle lose two takeovers in a row.

Also, Breeze is full time back on NXT so gives more cadence that he might win. But think the Dream will retain.

Seen a few people say Baszler will lose. Can’t see it myself. Reckon LaRae will be the one to take it off her.

But the fact that there’s still so many questions and not obvious winners shows that despite NXT’s roster looking a lot weaker these days it still can be booked in a way to make us all excited.

For as much as we slate WWE putting him in a feud with Dream is just perfect.

Seems like a desperate, panicky move tbh. Why let him win the MITB just to waste it like this? Maybe there's a swerve coming but it still feels like a mistake imo.

Absolute ratings grab that. It’s so desperate it hurts.

And if he doesn’t cash in then it’s just going to annoy people even more.

What if during Lesnar vs Rollins.... Goldberg shows up and costs Lesnar the match... Then the lights go off, and Taker's music hits, Taker attacks Goldberg.....

Could even set up Taker vs Goldberg vs Lesnar Triple threat for Super Showdown?...
