Read a few bits last month or so that said Fox are keeping a keen eye on it and have already proposed changes to WWE.

One being Daniel Cormier joining the commentary team to give it a real ‘sport’ feel and less entertainment.

Fox seem set on buying a sport product, not entertainment.
 
So I just watched Survivor Series (only the Rousey/Flair and Lesnar/Bryan matches) and I gotta say this was really, really good. I'm genuinely intrigued by Bryans heel character, so intrigued I just downloaded Smackdown as well. Haven't watched wrestling properly since mid summer. It's usually good to come back to WWE after a few months break. Baffling that Raw won every match at the ppv tho, considering Smackdown is the far superior brand. .

I used to watch a lot, and still follow it from a far. I have the wwe network but probably havent watched a full show, raw, smackdown, or a PPV in probably like 4 years.

But that last sentence, do you think the company regards smackdown as a superior brand? I know it has its supporters, but I don't think the company regards it as such. And doesn't want to. That'd be why Raw went over in every match in my opinion.

The company certainly doesn't, but I enjoy it far more to be honest. Literally all my favorite wrestlers are on SD at the moment. Raw just felt so goofy to me before I quit watching it. I don't know, maybe the SD product is a tad bit more mature than what we get on Raw? The red brand just doesn't appeal to me anymore, I guess. I remember it being the same way like a decade ago. Raw was the show I really didn't enjoy (got sick of Cena, HHH and Orton in every main event for years), while Smackdown was the wrestling show. I guess I always liked blue more than red ;)

No what you say here is certainly what I think others who prefer SD say. Again, I havent watched in months so I could be wrong. Smackdown seems more wrestling based, while Raw is more story line driven.
 
Anyone else going to the NXT UK shows this weekend at the Olyimpa? Really looking forward to them myself. Hopefully I'll go into tomorrow's show in the best possible mood after leaving Goodison!lol

Nice one, glad you got them in the end. I'm in the floor seats I think, but at the nxt house show there a few years ago we were in the gods and you could just walk to the bottom and watch from there.
