GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Was watching some old stuff on the network today and noticed they've edited out all the songs from The Rocks 'concert' in Sacramento. Just doesn't make any sense to me. If they're going to edit out everything from the Attitude era that might offend someone, it's just another reason not to give them a single cent for me.

I've recently gotten into watching shoots on youtube, and I binge anything that has Jim Cornette talking about Vince Russo:

Talking about how he's fixed his diet so he lives longer than Vince Russo and he can stand over his grave and piss on it lol

I can only assume it's for copyright reasons, especially if Rock was using other artists melodies

It won't be because of the language I'm sure

I see Triple H beat Jinder at a show over in India. Correct me if I got this wrong but wasn't the whole point of Jinders world title run and main event push so that he'd be the face of this tour? Instead they make him lose to the nearly 50 year old semi-retired authority figure! Just truly awful booking right there. I guess if your in the breakfast club like Hunter that trumps all. It seems obvious that Triple H is getting his giant shovel out in time for Wrestlemania season. Be prepared for him so somehow crowbar his way into a big Mania match.

From what I was told they realised the whole Jinder thing was a waste of time so expect him to be buried at every opportunity going forward.

To be fair HHH currently has loads of options for a mania match.

Well that's just ludicrous imo mate. After spending so much time and effort they could at least leave the guy some credibility. I think he could make it as a fairly credible mid-card. The push was way to much and way to fast for a guy who had been a jobber not long before, he might not be great but he's come on leeps and bounds from were he was. Seems a shame to just waste all that effort.

And for that to be the case at this stage in his career with all the young guys who could do with the Mania time that he will eat up is imo an utter embarrassment to the WWE. How are any of the young guys ever supposed to truly get over if it's constantly portrayed that the boss could come out of retirement any time he wanted and kick their ass? Just bad buissness.

For me most of the young guns can’t get over because they’re simply not good/interesting enough.

Bad booking and writing on WWE's part that imo. Creatively the guys are fighting with one hand tied behind their back. It's no surprise to me to see how well Cody Rhodes is doing for himself now he's away from the WWE umbrella and got some creative freedom. Matt Hardy's "broken/woken" gimmick comes for creative freedom he had while with TNA. The young guns will continue to not draw while they are held back like this. WWE are doing just what WCW did in the late 90's and holding back the youngsters, then complain that they don't draw!

I think it’s a bit of everything really. But the younger guys at the moment purely aren’t as interesting as the older characters.

As for Matt Hardy. It’s not for me this.
