True. It's just a really lame thing to do considering the relatively recent history with the characters. It's lazy and cheap and kinda feels like they've given up being arsed.

They are desperate for ratings and trying to stay relevant. Remember when it seemed like everyone you knew watched wrestling? Remember when there was actual build up and pay offs to storylines? Remember when it took Stone Cold months and months to actually win his first WWF title and how satisfying it was? Nowadays we have Jinder Mahal going on a reign of terror a month after coming back from the wildnerness.
WWE are desperate for cheap pops and fan service now. No wonder crowds are dead and attendances are dropping.
Its only getting worse, what they do to the final hour of raw now almost seems self sabotage?
I don't know maybe that's why they are desperate to break India and China as they know long term the European/American market is dying.
I think dave meltzer said that they dont get more income from new/casual fans any more just the hardcore fans spending more
I mean, it's just a live event. That sort of stuff happens all the time.
They've only social media blasted it because it draws interest in people going to them - in a time where ticket sales to those events are down.
The final hour of Raw is always a bit odd during the NFL season due to Monday Night Football which traditional does much better than WWE in the ratings
