Well I’m not sure having Angle as a member of the Shield makes it better.
But seeing Angle again will be great/terrifying as he can barely walk let alone anything else.
Styles/Finn will be great though.
Just in terms of intrigue as to how they either get around it, or how Angle either turns back the clock or gets badly hurt. Bit more unpredictable than a Shield glorified squash match to announce their return - they can do that on any given Raw.
Don't even need to explain why a crossdresser versus a man with pumpkin face paint being off the card for two technical masters of the game instead is an improvement haha

The days of surprises are kinda over.... Back when ratings and PPV sales were high they could afford to do surprises, now they basically have to announce everything before hand...
Would have been cool though if they kept this one quiet, would have been some pop when Angle's music hit....

The only issue with the changes at the ppv is that the storylines will go back to 4 week build ups for the same match. Another 4 weeks for balor vs wyatt , another 4 weeks of building the shield reunion etc

No title match on a ppv? Bit of a joke really that the title is held in so little regard that the champion is part time again for the whole year. You don't even get to see the belt most weeks let alone see it defended more than 4 times a year. Ridiculous situation considering so many wrestlers are foundering on the raw roster with no direction go in.

I dont mind titles not being defended at every PPV as i think we see far to many title matchs these days but I think it's a complete disaster to not have your world champion at every flagship show. A part time champion can work but only fpr a very limited time. It's also a total joke that a company with so many titles (far to many imo) can't find the time to make some of the "lesser titles" find an important spot on a show like this.

Just caught Raw from last night.. anybody else think the Brand split has to end? And I don’t ask this just on the basis of last night. I grew up with the first one and in my memory it was a lot better than this one. That’s probably a lot due to nostalgia, but the “smackdown six” definitely helped.
Multiple PPV’s a month, atrocious title scene on Smackdown, the team Raw vs team Smackdown element having no logic whatsoever; it just doesn’t seem to be working. AJ vs Balor was an example of how many potentially good matches WWE is missing out on at the moment as well.
When I was growing up in the 90’s top wrestlers held the “mid-card” titles before moving up the card to main event. I know this is sometimes the case, but look at how badly the IC title has been treated (aside from the Miz who actually cares about being a heel). There’s no reason why someone like Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Sami Zayn etc shouldn’t be in the US/IC title picture. On smackdown for example they made Jinder champ out of nowhere and even people with credibility like Nakamura should be built up more on the main roster; I get that a lot of people watch NXT but a lot of people also don’t.
Just my two cents anyway.
