GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Results from a recent marketability study showed Reigns among the most popular Superstars on the roster. The study, which was conducted amongst current WWE fans, yielded the following results in terms of popularity and likability: John Cena, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Cena earned the top spot by a wide margin.

Other talent that scored well were Randy Orton, Triple H and AJ Styles. Ambrose was surprisingly far behind that 2nd tier, while Kevin Owens didn’t fare well at all. In this era, WWE is very much a global corporation and data like this is considered in business planning.

It’s also worth noting that an (undisclosed) major retailer had these Superstars selling the most merchandise in 2015: John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

Which is absolutely fine.

Indeed - point made was that it doesn't make Reigns actually good at what he does. Personally I think you can appeal to a wider audience than just 8 year olds if you want to, and not have the main face of your company booed because he doesn't appeal beyond a very easy audience to please.

Well it's not just kids he appeals to. Women seem to think he's hot. On Raw just this week front row ring side, bloke holding a pro Reigns banner.

He's not my cup of tea, or yours, or loads of people, but we shouldn't just assume that everyone is like us.

Again, I don't think his in ring work is awful. But yeah, it's not exactly great either.

Alright mate

That chair contraption that Kevin Owens built though

The minute he set it up I was like Milhouse demanding to know when Itchy & Scratchy would make it to the firework factory

Sadly don't understand the reference, but I knew he was going thru it at some point. Happens the same way every time. Wish they wouldn't tease a big spot (superplex onto the chairs) and then give us something less good, just do a decent spot the first time.

ProWrestlingSheet which has been insanely good for scoops recently reckons he could be genuinely injured.

Edit: 3:19 of this, as Joe goes for his Coquina Clutch you hear an audible "Ow" from Rollins with Joe saying "You ok?"

Hmm.

Oh man. My mate text me but WWE are openly tweeting about it so there may be some hope that it's not too bad.

HHH Rollins is the one mania match I was really looking forward to!
