Bruce Wayne

Player Valuation: £100m
The general consensus seems to be that when Neville moves aside that Coleman is his natural successor at right back.

Dan Gosling was a right back when we signed him, although has been playing in midfield thus far.

Does anyone see him moving back in time or his is future in midfield?

People always say that but it's wrong, he was a midfielder who'd played right back a few times when we signed him. I see his future in midfield

Possibly as a utility man, I can't see him ever being a regular in the side. He doesn't have enough about him.

Yeah! He only scores important goals doesn't he... :dodgy:

He's still a kid like really. So don't be pushing him out the door just yet.

This!

The lad is 20 years old and 1 month for crying out loud.
He's had to contest a right wing role and right back role that lads 9 years (at least) his senior have failed to succeed in with any great effect.
He has balls of steel, and knows where the goal is, and we have at least 5 years before he will reach maturity. How fans can doubt his future with us beats me.

Little internet rumours today about him hunted by someone else in the summer, though. I won't dignify them with a link because the site is particularly useless, however the interesting part (I thought) was that it alleges he is out of contract in the summer. Anyone know the truth?

Added: See it's already mentioned here from another site than the one I was referring to.

Last year, Gosling was supposed to be signing a 2 year extension, so not sure if he did or not.

I can see him playing centrally for us to be honest, he reminds me a bit of milner let him make cameos for a couple of seasons while hes honeiing his craft - he has a great attitude.

goin out on a limb here, but i think Super Dan will surprise us all and become just as important for us as Rodwell.

Too early to tell imo. I think he'd play very well as our regular right back, but he's shown lots of promise in midfield. If it was up to me, I'd put him at right back; however, that might change as he matures.
