None of the Irish football team live and work in Ireland, doesnt affect therir nationality or what passport they carry
Many Irish people work in the UK
I'm pretty sure some Scots will have issues of English born players playing for them.
They will get a bad reception anyway, McQueen has just said what a load of Scots have been thinking.
i know, like theres even a differenceAnother one obsessed with the Irish/Scottish stuff. Bore off.
Oh and here's a little gem off his Wikipedia page:
In February 1978, McQueen moved from Leeds to rivals Manchester United for £495,000.[2]On signing he famously stated that '99% of players want to play for Manchester United and the rest are liars'.[7] He had declared only weeks earlier in Shoot magazine that he wanted to stay at Leeds United for his whole career.
He can't really moan look at Scotland's latest Squad and the amount of players that aren't actually Scottish:
Matt Gilks - English
Phil Bardsley - English
Russel Martin - English
Shaun Maloney - Born in Malaysia, lived there until he was 5 so probably doesn't count
James Morrison - English
Steven Fletcher - English
Chris Martin - English
Nearly a third of the squad.

We should just pull them both out. Certainly McCarthy, if he's injured.
