Fair point, but to me it just seems that they are only making an issue out of mcgeady and mccarthy because they are good players. If they were crap and didn't stand a chance in Scotland's starting line-up it wouldn't be a problem

There's a young lad in the Madrid academy who lived in Spain his whole life but has declared for Scotland due to his parents. Good Promising player from all accounts. You can put money on it that McQueen won't have an issue when he starts playing for the senior team

Fletcher had a scouser as a dad in the army, he lived in various army camps throughout the UK and Germany. But when his dad died his Scottish mother moved the family back to Scotland when he was 10. He went through the Scottish education and football system.
He is more Scottish than McCarthy and Aids combined Irish heritage.
