But, any social media we do is geared to raising awareness to GrandOldTeam and directing traffic here. Google+ helps your Google ratings which will do the same for us so yes, definitely worthwhile

So is this similar to Google maps page or totally seperate?

Can you link your website to it etc and when you say it took a long time to get a vanity URL is that a business name?

In short, if we are active on Google+ (In the same way as we are on Facebook and Twitter), then Google will reward us by making sure more people find GrandOldTeam on Google. Drop me a PM mate if you need help setting anything up.
