Would recommend a cab to get to Goodison mate. I took one there for the Liverpool game. Was 9GBP and dropped off right at the grand old lady. If it was a afternoon kick off you could even walk, not that far away from the city centre.

You can get a shuttle bus direct, for £2. Pick up is at the Lisbon, get your tickets from behind the bar.

Lime Street Station and it was about the same route I rake when walking to Goodison. Stange to hear that everyone thinks £9 is daylight robbery. Always thought Liverpool cabs were cheap.
