That's not what happened. He was outboxed early, pure and simple. He didn't "rope-a-dope".

His strategy maintained consistent, that's all, and when Bellew couldn't outbox him because he gassed, his natural talent, hand speed and accuracy shone through.

I wouldn't describe Usyk as a "monster", but he is very, very good clearly.

Probably didn't word that correctly so fair enough, but he adapted while Tony gassed fairly quickly.

Wanted the counter punch which worked. Tried to wind Usyk up, make him lose his head, which he did do a little. The whole shouting and showboating was trying to get him to open up more.
