I've looked back over the thread, and I can't find you confirming whether you and your ex were together 4 or 6 years before you ended it, and why such a discrepancy happened in the first place

Yes I did, I told you I lied. We were together for 8 years in total. From 15-19 and then from 21-24 inclusive. So 4 years each time, though there was considerable overlap during the 2 years or so in-between when we weren't together - which was perhaps where the 6 years came from - but to support your argument, rather than it being a throwaway comment, I'll say I lied and said it to exaggerate.
