Really enjoyed this. What really struck me was how you could see just how the stress of the whole thing was taking its toll on Snowden. His complexion and the bags under his eyes get progressively worse as the days go on.

Leaving all your family and friends without a word to go head on with the might of the US intelligence services... The guy has some serious balls!
When it all broke he was made out to be Satan by the US and UK government/agencies, now we know the story, he's an absolute legend for letting the world know just what these intelligence agencies are up to.

Decided to make films one of my main interests seeing as football isn't fun anymore. Watching The Story of Film: An Odyssey and its brilliant, 15 part doc on the history of film. I'm still in the early years (1930's) and i'm learning so much. Such a melancholic narration style, too.

Might have already been recommended, but The House I Live In is a brilliant critique on drug laws. It includes David Simon, the creator of the wire who gives the most incredible views on drug criminalisation. It's available on netflix.
