Just watched QPR:The Four Year Plan. It's not a classic or even massively insightful doc, but interesting (as we're about to begin a new era of stewardship) to see the positive and negative impacts of boardroom and investment changes at a club. The main protagonists are Amit Bhatia, Gianni Paladini & Flavio Briatore. Bhatia seems a level headed, passionate and realistic guy, engaged with the club and fans, Paladini a desperate 'yes man' and Briatore a monumental arse; capricious, insulting and detached.

I've seen this too, quite scary how some owners are just clueless about the game. I think the telling quote was when they had fired their 5th (?) manager in close succession, and they were chatting and saying "God, we've been unlucky getting awful managers".

Watched a documentary last night called Give up Tomorrow. It's about a double murder case in the Philippines it centres on Paco Larrañaga, who with 7 others, was arrested and tried for the murders.
If you had any faith in humanity, watch this documentary and it will vanish. I won't spoil it for anyone but give it a watch and I promise you, you will be stunned.

I saw 'Greece with Simon Reeve' a couple of months ago, I thoroughly enjoyed it particularly where he was in Crete, I hadn't realised how barbaric the Germans had been when the occupied the Island.

Not just that Island.............. that's why the Greeks have so much passion about their heritage................. they just forget to pay their taxes lol

20 Feet From Stardom.

Exuberant celebration of the unsung singers who sang on massive songs, including the tenacious Darlene Love and the extraordinarily talented Lisa Fischer. This pleasant and succinct doc won't change the world, although it's subjects did more than most people would realise.
