Mcilroy -3 to the turn but that's about the worst he could have shot given how good he was tee to green. Missing putts consistently to the left

Heard that, wonder how many times he’ll stroke himself when he replays it. Just don’t get the “I was on telly”
They’ve been there from day one. Idiots. Mcilroy’s usual frailties at majors continues. He gets down on himself too much and feels sorry for himself instead of getting his head down and fighting. He can’t read greens as good as the likes of Rahm and Jason day. Just not good enough when under pressure. He’ll go out and shoot 65 tomorrow when the pressure’s off, come a close second or third, but all too little too late.

Mcilroy won't win another major until the putting improves significantly. That one was a shocker
He’s tried everything to improve his putting, I just don’t think he can read the greens anywhere near as good as the top putters can. I know he’s gettting frustrated, but it looks like he’s just given up over the last few holes. You’d never see rahm or day or spieth getting on like that whilst still in a tournament. He hasn’t got the steel required to win a major these days.
