Have you ever done this? I find myself in Berlin on my own this night and it would seem a shame to stay in my hotel room. Not that convinced I’m capable of bar hopping on my own though

When I say “right frame of mind” though, I mean open to making new friends rather than being a bit maudlin and just wanting a drink for its own sake. As a Southern wool (@FC sexy xxx) that’s how I’ve always played it when coming up for matches. Had some particularly good times at the Europa games (remember them?!) and still keep in email contact with a few locals and foreigners.
