All these bands were heavily influenced by and loved the beatles though

First time I saw Macca at The Cavern Dave Gilmour was playing guitar in his band. Dave Groll flew over from the States to play drums for him. Bob Dylan gets the Beatles Tour bus whenever he visits the City. Yeah. Massive influence the world over.

Eleanor Rigby is a masterpiece

They aren't my favourite ever band, but they impacted music more than any other band has, or probably ever will, in the UK and in the states. Mccartney is probably the best and most prolific song writer this country ever produced.

He's 80 years of age and this might be the biggest gig he does before retirement. Its always going to be hyped but thats because people are interested in him.
