That sounds like a barren, joyless world you live in matey. Do you fancy a bu, err, hug?

Change that first comma to a couple of g's and you can count me in x

But you know what it's like when someone asks what you want for christmas and you think, "Well I'd like a new car or a holiday, or living room could do with redecorating but they're all a little bit out of gift price range".

And you know they're thinking the same thing when you ask the same question.

If gold bars are the consistency of socks - no.

I can agree with some of this, but honestly I am not fond of the idea of gifts on specific days like Christmas, birthday, Valentine's day, etc. I get acknowledging them, but it all seems so contrived.

The best gifts, given or received, are those that are for no other reason than someone was thinking of you....saw or thought of something and knew you'd love it or needed it.

Not saying gifts on those specific days can't be like that, but guess I have become cynical. We have turned these days into obligations which is not truly a gift to be given or received.

Also possible I'm just a cold, soulless ginger...

I,m totally with you on this. Everything is so contrived and stage managed now days. FFS Mothers Day was invented by a greetings card company to punt cards out. Dont get me started on Wedding Present lists. I refuse point blank to buy a Wedding Present off a list and I even find the fact that a list has been drawn up offensive and crass. I once presented a happy couple with a framed, dated and signed Duncan Ferguson shirt as a one man stand against their wedding list. ( it cost much more than anythng on their sterile list ) He was made up and the shirt takes pride of place in his office . She said I was disrespectful and hasn't really spoken to me since.

Ps I,m a ginger too, so maybe there is something to your theory ........

Anybody who doesn't say recieving is lying.

Presents, oral sex, attention, affection, everything.

If anyone says to you that they're happier treating someone else than getting treated they are a sociopath who has just looked you in the eye and lied to your face.

And you should find the nearest fire exit.

prefer giving tbh. most guys are gunna say whaaa, but there's not many things better than hearing a girl moan because of what you can do with your tounge.

umm, ah feck it, who cares if that was a bit too graphic and personal ha
