Vialli was what used to be called a bustling centre forward. Like Lofthouse, Lawrie Reilly of Hibs, Jimmy Miller of Rangers or our Dixie Dean.

We could do with one of them now. Never give the defence a moment's peace.

This is really sad news. Luca was a great player, a fine manager and a gentleman. I'll never forget his words about Chelseas game against Bolton back in 1998.

It wouldn't be fair to Everton if i picked a weakened team. I think Chelsea had an upcoming european final to prepare for as well. That really did speak volumes about the mans character and integrity. May you rest in peace Luca.

Only remembered this again now.

It was sad last week when the news broke about Vialli. Great player who was well liked by all. Sad day for Football just like Pele the Master. RIP to them both.
