The Unobstructed View
so are we gonna sing for him at the next game ? opinions seemed to have moved in the right direction since the thread began.

he will make that much of an impact that the last mondaay before xmas shall be known as "marouannesday"
Where did you get your signature from mate. Pure Argentinian Spanish. That and your user name suggests a connection. Parents? wife (as in my case)? spill the beans pibeReidy I admire your determination to get this Fella(ini) a song. But I think in the end you'll have to go the Lower Gwladys and belt it out solo a few times to make it happen.
And he said the refs in Belgium singled him out before he came and was looking forward to being treated fairly. Love te guy but if you keep just throwing your leg out you're gonna get booked MarouaneEverton will consider speaking with referees' chief Keith Hackett if they feel Marouane Fellaini is being unfairly treated.
The club's record £15million signing has been booked eight times this season, including in each of his last three matches.
However, Everton feel on a number of occasions the bookings have been more to do with Fellaini being an imposing figure, and the fact he stands out with his shock of black curly hair.
Following one recent encounter they were forced to voice concerns to the match officials, and if it persists they may yet contact Hackett, the Premier League head of referees.
"He (Fellaini) has said himself he is disappointed with how many bookings he has received, which he has put down to inexperience," commented assistant-manager Steve Round on the 21-year-old Belgian.
"We have also put it down to the fact he is quite recognisable.
"I think the officials and referees maybe need to take a look at him and book him on merit, rather than because it's big Fellaini.
"There was a recent game where one particular opposition player made six consecutive fouls, yet wasn't booked. Fellaini made one foul and was booked.
"That situation was pointed out to the officials, and they took it on board.
"Hopefully we'll start seeing him get fair treatment and booked on incidents rather than reputation.
"It's possibly something we might have to raise with the PGMOL (Professional Game Match Officials Limited). We will see how it goes.
"At the minute I don't think it's a big issue, but we need to be careful because with his size and stature, he is the first person people look at. I've seen it before with other players.
"If he makes a foul that's worthy of a booking, then fair play, you book him.
"But we need to make sure it's not the first one in every game just because it is Fellaini."
Round, though, feels the midfielder has at least started to prove himself on the Premier League stage after a typically tough baptism given his late arrival and the vast sum of money paid.
"He is becoming a real Premier League player, but then we knew he would and why you invest the kind of money we did for a player of his age," added Round.
"We always knew he had the pedigree, but it's just a matter of time in the Premier League, which you need, especially when you come from a different country.
"You have to adapt to not only the culture, lifestyle and language, but also to the league itself, which is completely unique.
"So it was always going to take a while for him to settle in, and in fact, he has probably settled quicker than we expected.
"Now he is really starting to look a top player."
The fans have also taken Fellaini to their hearts, notably because of his unmissable hairstyle.
"The lads give him stick, and the fans now are all wearing these wigs which is fantastic," smiled Round.
"He (Fellaini) takes it all in good spirit. He likes it, and he insists he is not going to cut it off because he wants to keep everybody entertained."

Lets get behind the lad ffs lids.
He's 20 years of age and all you lot getting [Poor language removed] furious at him is not going to help the matter.
Come on Felli, give us a goal tomoz!
