getting behind Fellaini.

He does not deliver killer passes often enough, almost all his passing is short, backwards or sideways, which is [Poor language removed] annoying when the team is behind and chasing the game. He does not take on defenders and rarely dribbles. He has no pace or trickery. He's getting better at winning headers, but is that the way you want to see us play? Hoff ball? I believe this kid will do wonders if only he's surrounded by ball players in the middle of the park where his short passing is most effective. Right now our midfield is woeful to see him succeed in anyway.

I thought the lad did really well yesterday, neat and tidy with his passing and won more than his fair share of tackles and headers.

But to say he's world class is hilarious:D

the midfield has been chopped and changed around him so i feel it is hard to judge until we have a settled unit. does anyone believe that the best person to be next to him in a 442 is cahill? i agree with what moyes said about the possibilities of having rodwell and fellaini develop a midfield partnership for years to come.

plus he has ace hair.

That hair needs cutting, how can he produce a bullet like header into the net with a burst mattress on his head.

Aerodynamics and all that.

i think it's more about the optical illusion. his hair is so big that his head looks really close to you, making his marker think he is two metres closer than he actually is. plus if he grows it just one inch longer leon osman will be able to hide in it at set pieces.

Hope this isn't another gay thread

Better look away now then :P

He needs a couple of seasons to justify the price tag - I agree with the original post, he's just a lad - he needs to get used to living here as well as playing here, and learning the language too so it's not surprising he's taking time to settle.

Thought he had a decent enough game, but nothing spectacular - he has been improving game by game until now, and I can't see any reason for it not to continue.

I also think playing 4-4-2 means players were more restricted than we are used to seeing with an open 4-5-1 - look how quiet Cahill was - it was a disciplined performance all round, I thought

the lad's a legend, i should know. bumped into him while he was waiting for a taxi this morning outside his apartment block opposite toys r us. he was on his way to training and he's picking up the language alright to be honest. he is one big [Poor language removed] tho.
made my monday morning that did, totally unexpected. wished him good luck for wigan game he said he couldn't wait to play again!!!!
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

i'll upload the photo when i get credit on me phone.

Your both going over the top. He had a decent game, he was far from average and he wasn't immense either.

He's getting better though, no question about it.

I agree. Being the sole game that I've been able to see live, I really had a good look at the lad. He's strong, holds the ball well and plays some nice, simple little passes from midfield. But he certainly didn't get above a six out of 10 from me.
