All the knee jerk reaction is laughable we don't go from a great performance on Saturday and a very good looking team to a poor team over night. Moyes decided to rest a few players so be it its his perogactive and it was just a bad night. Bad to important matters at hand on Saturday 3 pts and we are still riding high.

I didn't see the game but their seems to be a little knee jerk reaction.

We are doing the best we can and all teams have crappy games even United, Chelsea - just hope we learn from today.

We have been playing better at the start of the season than what we have done previously.

I am still pretty pleased but naturally disappointed with today's result.

City got stung 4-2 by Villa at home tonight. As Tobin says, all teams have "one of the games" every once in a while, particularly in the cup.

Just like it was his prerogative to shoot us through the foot in the Semi Final last year by leaving Drenthe out.

How come you're so bothered about this cup, god it ****e and it was a game where we could try our other players and i'm glad he chose to do this then not give players a chance.

You also have to work hard at training all week mate, and behave proper, and he wasnt so it was his own fault.

Because we've won Jack for years and winning a Cup is boss for the fans while finishing higher up in the league is appealing to bean counters.
