Having a monarchy is a goofy waste of tax money and belongs to the past. Id love it if we got rid of the Norwegian ones when the current king dies, utters wasters with accessories worth more than most people make in a month.

The problem with having a constitutional monarch as head of state is that they are helpless to prevent abuse of power.
This was amply illustrated when Johnson deliberately and illegally twisted the rules and the Queen as head of state could not prevent it without breaking the protocols that surround a constitutional monarch.
Those who have power over our lives should be answerable and that requires that they should be elected into place and limited in duration.
This also goes for the House of Lords which like the monarchy should be abolished once again. This time for good.
