Good riddance Deulofeu. WTF do Milan and Barcelona know? We dont want your skills here, we've got Bolasie and Lookman.

Dave mate, this wouldn't and shouldn't have been an issue if a) the old guard hadn't agreed to a silly buy back clause to push the deal through and b) the lad had the stamina to back up his skill enough to play in this League. He thrived in Serie A and will likely thrive if given a chance at Barca as both leagues are mostly slower and have more emphasis on skill than English football

Yes, two talented players but I also rated Deulofeu's skills. But I always knew his deal with us was just a structured loan...Barcelona were always going to exercise the buy back option

Shame he couldn't stick around as a super sub. Probably the best he can hope for in English football. At least we make a profit on a semi-surplus player.

They were always going to sign him back after year 3. It was a strange deal from the off. Imagine the fume if he had smashed our league up. Wish him well though as he seemed to get our club. But end of the day he was loaned out for a reason.

Was always an utterly absurd signing, was effectively a 3 year loan with a recall option anytime they wanted, we couldn't ever have won with that deal, he flops badly, we would be left with a flop, he succeeds to any degree then they buy him back, if he just does meh, then they buy him back to sell him on in a year time

Great player on his day and in his moments, sadly neither his day or those moments came anywhere near often enough

Fully echo those sentiments.
A frustrating player in many senses, skilful no doubt, but in all honesty, the Prem was never going to be his stage upon which to bring out his best.
