Gerard Deulofeu

The only creative player out of our entire squad and the entire list of linked players. In terms of creative output he's just the level below Fabregas, De Bruyne, Hazard etc., and only 23 years old.

We've been getting by with no creativity in the squad because Lukaku puts away just about every chance. If we lose Lukaku and don't fix that then we're effed, our attack will be toothless.
Myth. People like to say this a lot on here but it's simple not true. He's decent in conversion rate but way below someone like Defoe who had next to no chances and had a decent tally of 15.

Oh and this if from January before he quit for a bit then started shooting from anywhere as Kane overtook his tally

Lukaku had an overall conversion rate of 29.1% 55 shots on target and 31 shots off target in 37 appearances. (Excludes 24 blocked shots

Then Defoe must have had a terrible second half because he was about 35% in January. Either way Lukaku is not this amazing conversion beast he's made out to be as he's very similar to the other "top" forwards.

Linked to AS Roma today. This is interesting as I guess this requires Barca not to invoke their buy back clause or Deulofeu not to agree to move back to them.

Once 1 July goes by this probably allows us to negotiate at market price, whatever that may be.

I was thinking the same. Interesting to know if the 10.5m is just for Barca. I would say he is worth 15 although Italy are not usually big payers

Can't really understand why we are going to sell him especially when his replacement is going to be half as good and twice/three times the price.
If we could work out a way of getting him to play for more than 60-70 mins a match he'd be even better.

We already did that in replacing him with Bolasie. As I've said many times, selling him will bite us on the arse.

See Roma are linked, trading up from Salah.
