He assists and scores. If he's in and out of the game in between then so what?

There is a growing mentality amongst Everton supporters it seems (parroting the Dutchman in the Dugout, no doubt) that hard work is the objective. It's not.

Dave get off your agenda bicycle. I didnt mention hard work.

I am watching an unhealthy amount of football since moving to a new place in the last year and across the leagues there are lots of technically good to great players but not too many have consistent impact on a game and Del doesnt stand out at all really as much as I want to say he does.

Sure, I'd love to have him as a squad option as he will contribute to the stats over the season but regularly watching his attitude....nah, I can understand why he keeps moving about.

I thought Jese would be a top player but having seeing his every minute so far at Las Palmas he is another decent example of the same problem. His attitude stinks and holds him back from properly using the talent and speed he undoubtably has.

But what is it you what to see from Deulofeu? Milan are happy with his efforts. Does he have to do what he's done and also run about a lot?

Basically unless he has David Silva's ability and awareness (which he doesn't) he needs some physical strength/stamina to match his talent. Tadic and Mane were brought in by Koeman at Southampton who have creativity and in Tadic's case a big eye for a pass so I don't buy the notion that Koeman goes for just workhorses.

Ironically enough him and Adama Traore came through Barca's ranks together and a fusion of both would be a great player. Traore has the tenacity and energy that Deulofeu needs, and Deulofeu has the crossing and end product that Traore needs.

Sell him for £10 million and let Walsh bring in a good replacement. Mahrez or Perisic are dream signings, although I think we'll stick to 3-5-2 next season and go for Rooney up top with Rom and not play wingers.

In a world where serie A is nowhere near as physically demanding as the premier league and in a world where Milan are no closer to the top of their division than we are.

Ah the best league in da world argument.

Do people still believe in the physically demanding crap? Id have thought England's recent failures in all European comes would have humbled us

Guardiola , Emery, Enrique, Martinez (gulp) & Koeman may just disagree with you.

I must be the odd one out here but I like Deulofeu and Bolasie and believe there would be games where we could play both. The more different types of players you have the more systems you can play. They are both wasteful at times but so too are Messi and Ronaldo and I know that are not on the same level as them but they are good enough for this stage of the journey. When we get top 4 regular move them on but at the minute they are what we can attract.

In what universe are you good enough for ac Milan but not Everton?

Some of our fans have a real high opinion of us recently.. We're 7th in the league not first!

where are AC Milan in their league ??

7th !!! yes seventh place in a league on a par with the Scottish prem. one team dominating

if del was any good he would be doing what dembele is doing at celtic.
