Koeman isn't a stick in the mud though. Show him you're worthy and he'll pick you. Ross and Jagielka show this. Del would need to show a lot more maturity though I'd say.

Start of next season with league, 2 domestic cups and a possible European campaign - I don't think it's unrealistic that he could come back and get opportunities.

see how he does in pre-season, plus europa league qualifiers(hopefully) and through august, if hes still a little silly sausage then sell him to hull

I would if I was him. Getting a game in sunny Italy's better than sitting on a bench on Merseyside.
