I think a couple of quality wingers would've helped immensely in the first half.

Sadly we don't have any of them at the club. Bolaise, Deulofeu, Mirallas etc, outcome would've been pretty much the same.

Even if he'd have got to the byline he'd have to wait until liverpool had thoroughly organised their defence before any support arrived.

This.

We were crying out for him last night, especially in that second half which was like the Siege of the Park End.

We needed an outlet and we had none.....if nowt else Del would have given Milner sommat else to think about rather than gently amble forward every time the ball was hoofed into our totally deserted right wing.

No manager can get the best out of Deulofeu. Look at his previous managers and they all lashed him out.

Do you know who we should buy to replace him? That sulky, mercurial winger with well-documented mentality issues who can't get a game with a traditionally top tier club but just needs an arm around the shoulder.
