Think the fact he was used as a substitute more times than he started shows he never really got into any kind of run of form here and was too inconsistent to hold down a regular starting position. Looks fantastic to watch at times but the reality was he could also be totally ineffective in games. I'd deffo have him warming our bench though, strange move for him to go back to Barca, maybe he'll have more success there at holding down a first team place but it's hard to see that happening unless he improved dramatically.
