I agree he is not showing his pace at the moment, certainly over short distances. He's also struggling to get past his markers because he's missing that little bit of sharpness that gives him 'fast feet'.

That will come with a run of games.

If Coleman is fit, I'd personally start with Lennon, and run Young ragged and stifle his attacking threat for an hour or so, then Geraldo for the last 20-30 mins to run riot. Either way, it's great to have a choice for a change.

I think Young would feel far more comfortable matching up against Lennon. The biggest advantages Lennon has over Deulofeu are his workrate and pace, and that's not something that will frighten Young. I can't see him being able to cope with Deulofeu when the ball is at his feet, though.

Weird thing is the daily (liverpool rag) mirror gave him a 7 out of ten saying how great he was attacking inventive yadda yadda yadda....

But when you actually watch or was at the game you seen a young lad learning, who to be honest was fairly poor, but if he's got a bit of gumption (love that word) and character(ala Galloway v city) will grow and become a much better player. Sometimes you need to lose to learn to progress.......

Just love the excitement the lad brings, to many years of mediocrity to let him fall by the wayside x
