Gerard Deulofeu

The timid, non contact, laborious slow style of serie A suits him to the ground. I'm not saying it's a worse league, but it's very very different, and success there means precious little as far as Koeman will be concerned.

...possibly Tim. I liked him for us because he had a run of games where he offered creativity when we had none. We were dreadful but at least he got his head up and for a while I think his assist record was up there with the best. Saying that, I'm fine if he doesn't fit the way RK wants to play. We've moved on and I think GD will.

He's a very talented kid don't get me wrong. But I have no patience whatsoever when it comes to bottling challenges, but especially fitness levels. He's a professional athlete and seemed to show no signs of improvement. I just can't understand how a player with so much free time, and who earns so much money doesn't show the desire to get himself well conditioned. Maybe that was just part of the Martinez way tho perhaps.

Just goes to show play for a top side and your in the international side

Play better than anyone else in your country but at a not so big club, and don't get a look in

Anyone who says he isn't good enough for Everton are a bit simple in my book.

He is class, raw and with a questionable desire, but class. With the right coaching and man management he will be amazing. I just know he will end up somewhere else tearing it up and we will be all sat here wondering 'what if'.

I know he has had a couple of chances but he did no worse than Mirallas/Barkley who are both now proving their worth and showcasing their true ability more consistently. I think Del could do the same at Everton I love him.

He has played under some vastly different managers who all use different techniques and set their teams up differently and he has not pushed on for any of them until Milan currently.

Koeman is obviously aware of his talent, he tried him in pre season in a couple of positions and started him at the begining of the season but he did not take his chance.

He may very well tear it up elsewhere, will he ever tear it up in our league though? He may do if he learns to not go missing as soon as a tackle is put in on him.

We do need to remember he is still young too. Maybe Koeman just wanted him to get some game time elsewhere as he was taking a different approach before his system beds in at Everton.

I would'nt say Mirallas is showing any different level of consistency to what he always has either...

...to be fair, Koeman gave him chances but he disappointed. I was hoping he'd take off with the new manager but it wasn't to be.

1 start here and there earlier on in the season mate. Not a few games... remember the spell he played Lennon for like 5/6 games in a row and for every minute he played he was absolutely the worst player on the pitch... could have given that run to a clearly more talented delafeou

Talent isn't everything though. He needs to contribute a hell of a lot more than a few boss crosses that nobody gets on the end of.

..I know, I was so wanting it to work out and was equally bemused at Lennon's inclusion but for whatever reason RK doesn't appear to want him. I accept that if it's for the greater good.

I think its fair to say he doesnt give you enough/isnt fit enough to start under Koeman. I do believe he could be effective as an impact player from the bench. But Del wasnt prepared to pkay a bit part role and he's intimated as much himself.

I've seen a bit of him since he's been in Italy as Milan are often on the box. His form has been over egged imo. Stats are no better than Bolasies were for us before he got injured. He's still blowing for tugs and his work rate and team work are much the same as ever.

This Spain cap is being blown up too. He has been U21 captain for a while and this International break was a good oppirtunity to take a look at him as a lot of countries have no doubt done. It did emphasise his potential worth as an impact player though.

Personally I would be happy to see him back next season as we would have to pay good money to replace him in the squad. Can't see it happening though.

likewise you could say re lennon, he needs to contribute a hell of a lot more other than running around like a headless chicken in his own off because he offered nothing going forward!

think the "he doesn't track back" is a myth me, obviously doesn't track back as much as a lennon or bolasie like but does his fair share, think it was more about his fitness, always looked goosed after abar 20 minutes, again something they could have worked on!

Lennon doesn't play either so its a pointless comparison really. He has had one decent run of games since coming here and he got our player of the month in that time.

I agree with the tracking back thing but do you honestly think 4 (?) managers have all had him and not realized that his fitness could be worked on? There is an issue there by the looks of it.

I can't envisage another time when we have Bolasie, Deulofeu and Lennon vying for the right wing spot. Given what we paid for Bolasie I'd say the other two need to go.
