Then you'll have your answer as to whether we should have let him go or not.
It's not just about individual matches, or individual ability, though. Del may have come on and created something to win us the game but it's pretty clear we can not rely on a player like him over a prolonged period. His attitude is more damaging to the squad than the infrequent moments of brilliance he provides. Maybe if he produced these moments more often his attitude could be excused but that's just not the case.
He's been given long enough to make something of himself here and it's a real shame because he has the technical abilities that most players would kill for. But ok, this is football and he must go. Shipping him should be a motivating factor for most players at the club. No longer do we entertain players phoning it in, it's not good enough for our club anymore.
