He's done nothing to deserve a chance when coming on though, he's hardly bust a gut. Didn't he miss a game through turning up late too.

I still thought he may have had more game time, more through trying something than anything else. He will struggle with the run up we have coming up, can't fit him in when we play 5 at the back and play for draws.

He came on in the 60th minute in one match and was completely knackered by the 80th. A person that young should NEVER be exhausted after 20 minutes and barely doing any off the ball movement.

If the manager can't even rely on him lasting a half then I have no problems with him not playing.

I like Geri, but like several other members of the squad, the question marks over effort and consistency are too glaring to overlook.

Koeman wouldn't be the first manager not to rush to put him on the teamsheet.

Considering how poor we've been though, he deserves a chance to start more than several others.

I would certainly start him against Swansea but he needs to take his chance and make an impact then.

He always seems to struggle for breath after an hour or so too, very troubling and not the best reflection of his professionalism.

Like several other squad members, I think he is earmarked to be pushed out once Koeman gets his own players in.

A decent guy and player, but no fear that Barca will ever be taking him back.

Sheedy was anything but a "luxury player".

Sheedy took the mickey out of himself as regards his defensive abilities . He was a brilliant player in attack but lightweight defensively.

That is where he was meant to be brilliant.

It was a different footballing era when the ability to defend was not a pre-requisite for a skilful forward.
