It's certainly looking that way, someone to bring off the bench and pose a threat. His may have still been learning, but he changed the dynamic, running at people without fear, making teams more hesitant to commit forward.

When Deulofeu played on instinct he was excellent, when he had to stop, think about it and make a decision then not so good. But more first team action will address that issue. Reading some of his comments over the summer he struck me as something of a cocky little sod who thought he could walk into the Barcelona first team squad and he seemed rather indignant to be farmed out to Sevilla. He has the makings of a very good player indeed and in the meantime his pace and direct play is plenty enough to be a considerable threat.

If we are not, then somebody is not doing their job properly. I suggest our chances of getting him are very slim, but we should at least try.

I would think if Barcelona want to sell we are a good chance. The boy clearly has an affinity with the Club.
