Good point. That massive mural of Martinez was an absolute shocker. That the Everton board sanctioned that cringe inducing monstrosity leaves me dumbfounded. Similarly, the bell who put up the Deulofeu welcome banner. What is wrong with these people? Are they a touch simple? Are they dispossessed of proper codes of conduct?
Regardless, it shakes my faith in Evertonian supporters being smart, down to that faith's very foundations

I think everyone on this forum would agree that the Deulofeu banner was embarrassingly bad and casts Everton supporters in a very bad light, but I think you might be taking it a little too personally. OK, so there's an absolute weapons grade belter of an Evertonian out there who does silly, silly things. But one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole barrell

Surely the banner de jour was just the work of one sadly deluded, misguided, tasteless individual who may have been convinced it a good idea by his mates sniggering behind his back, or some sad forelorn love driven teenager who adores the best little Spaniard we own.
