yeah well could be worse, it could have been a massive mural of our manager after one season, on our stadium, sanctioned by the board,
Like that would ever happen though.

Good point. That massive mural of Martinez was an absolute shocker. That the Everton board sanctioned that cringe inducing monstrosity leaves me dumbfounded. Similarly, the bell who put up the Deulofeu welcome banner. What is wrong with these people? Are they a touch simple? Are they dispossessed of proper codes of conduct?yeah well could be worse, it could have been a massive mural of our manager after one season, on our stadium, sanctioned by the board,

Regardless, it shakes my faith in Evertonian supporters being smart, down to that faith's very foundations

I thought that mural was a shocker. I am surprised you liked it, but everyone is entitled to their own standardsI'm sorry. I forgot you speak for all 1 million Everton fans in the United Kingdom.
Plus the other 4 million we know of world wide.
Ok mate.
CRINGE

Can I infer then that you were a big fan of the RM outsize poster? Fair enough mate, so you have different cringe standards to me. I am not saying yours are lower than mine...just different.
Are you thinking of taking banners to Goodison this season?

yes, I guess I can understand what you are saying about the banner writer.Surely the banner de jour was just the work of one sadly deluded, misguided, tasteless individual who may have been convinced it a good idea by his mates sniggering behind his back, or some sad forelorn love driven teenager who adores the best little Spaniard we own.
The mural however...

What surprises me though is how any Evertonian felt pride at the Martinez mural. As I said to @bizarro above, his endorsement of such is of course a personal thing. But personally, I thought it was a little cringe inducing.
But, modus vivendi I guess.
