As I see it...

Terms were agreed between the clubs which meant Gerard could fly in to agree terms and do his medical. This was done, he took the pictures holding his new shirt but yesterday was a Spanish holiday and Barca have it that they announce the transfer first. Obviously they are not in a rush to announce him leaving so didn't justify doing it on a national holiday.
So all the hope that it will be announced today is because they are back in work after their jolly and people in Marbella have spoken to Deulofeu who has said it is done.

Is that about right? Am I close?
