Deulofeu is a goalscorer...Know many forwards with a lot of assists?...He had 18 goals and 5 assists in 33 appearances.
In fact, Luis Alberto (Striker) who turned out to be a great loanee to the B team ended up setting up Gerard quite often and in 38 appearances had 11 goals but 17 assists.
In the B team, not unlike with the 1st team with Messi, everyone looks to feed Deulofeu
And yes, the club rates Deulofeu very highly which has been the case for a good 5 years now

Yep...Bummed about that deal, Barcelona had a buyback option but decided against it...He struggled to fit in early on but you could see the quality in his game as the season went on...By the end, he was a key player and providing far more than the goals they expected from him - probably due more to the fact that Barcelona don't play with a true center forward...Credit to Alberto though, he adapted and thrived enough to seal a nice deal into the Premiership...Rodgers will likely get good use of him
