Wasn't Firminio's fee only 12 or 13 million last week?? I suppose doubling the asking fee and paying much more than his value was the only way to take out any decent opposition for his signature.

That's what publically saying you are getting £50 million for a player will do.

He's been in Liverpool since Monday and been to Finch Farm twice (Monday, Tuesday). Everything on our side is done, just waiting on Barca and with it being Messi' birthday i cant see them interrupting that to announce Deulofeu to uslol
