Gerard Deulofeu has arrived in Liverpool as advanced talks about his imminent Everton return continue.
The Barcelona winger flew to the city earlier today with girlfriend Mari Vilches Valle to continue negotaions with Goodison officials about his £3m transfer.
Deulofeu, 21, has long been keen to return to Everton after a successful loan spell in 2013/14, and insisted on the move being permanent insread of another temporary arrangement.
He spent last term on a distinctly less rewarding loan at Sevilla, with only 15 starts and his last outing was a 28-minute cameo from the bench on April 26.
It now appears an announcement from the Blues is imminent about the singing fans have hoped for since the exciting young prospect last graced Goodison.
Deulofeu made 29 appearances for Everton, scoring four times. He will become the club’s second signing of the summer, after the free transfer capture of Tom Cleverley.
