We were going down until he arrived. Really on our arse and couldn't get nothing going. Lennon comes in and gave us a massive lift with his drive, his pace and scored a couple of important goals. Brought Coleman halfway back to his best too. Ended up being a key player in that 6 game unbeaten run that saw us to safety and finishing 11th.

Could be argued we wouldn't of finished so high without him.... we were that bad at the time. What is each place in the league worth?

Saying this is effectively a loan is effectively total bollocks. A loanee would return to their parent club at the end of the loan by default, whereas with a buyback he stays with us by default and the buyback has to be exercised which Barcelona and the player would both have to agree on.

There is (sadly) a gulf between a player who is good enough for Everton and a player good enough for Barcelona. The silver lining of which is that Geri D may fall into our lap. Barcelona have deemed him not good enough for them at this time and it will take a meteoric rise for their opinion to change in the next couple of years.

don't have a problem with signing lennon permanently but 9m is too much for a 29 year old winger with 1 year left on his deal. I'm fine with 5-6m but shouldnt let levy bend us over a barrel over it. Without a doubt he improved us but still dont think we'd have gone down, some serious dross below us

Ha ha must be my phone as I can't see anything! I only joined last week and had a run in with Sniderman. I have as good as I got but came off it -300 or something for the worse....
