I don't, I've never said we would not sign him.

All I've done since yesterday is say these stories that have been leaked to the press are a bit suss.

Who does it gain? Who has leaked it? All points to the player and his representatives. No doubt they could have signed a contract last week with us but instead bought a bit of time and leak to the media to see who comes out of the woodwork for a bit of action.

They are playing the game, used us as the bait. He might still sign for us but I bet he will have a better contract and signing on fee.
