Only used it twice in my memory, Pique and Fabregas.

It would expire after 2 years anyway apparently, not worried. If they wanted him, they wouldn't be selling him.

One of the things they also miss out in that Goal article is that although he only got 3 goals, Deulofeu got 6 La Liga assists (more than all our wingers combined) and 10 overall (only Baines can match him). This despite basically not playing from February onwards as he'd fallen out with the coach.

Iirc he got quite a few of these assist from his corners and free kicks - one problem with having Baines/Garbutt taking a lot of ours is they are out of position if the opposition team break especially if it is corner on the right, Gerard could help reduce that weakness.
