v Stoke at Goodison...MotM

Was that the game where his hamstring went? I remember him being boss before getting stretchered off. He was definitely best as an impact player though, when he started at Fulham and Sunderland away he was gash. Tried to do the same thing every time, a few step-overs before trying to around the fullback. Only really works when the defender in front of you isn't fresh and you haven't been trying to do it all game.

won us the game at sunderland didnt he

Yes, Soldado and The Wolfs Winkle were the biggest PL flops of last summers 'big signings'
Think sometimes it is easy to underestimate how big an impact it can have on some people moving to a new climate, language, culture etc. both on and off the pitch.

Forlan is a winner of a WC Golden Ball award, was the top scorer twice in La Liga for Villareal & Atletico yet his Man Utd career was pretty dreadful - he scored 10 goals im 63 appearances.

I'd rather we played @Mikey_Fitzgerald up front on his own.

Best game from him this season was Newcastle away imo, not the hardest defence to play against but the big pitch helped, he was boss. Would still love to see him next season, he will do well in Europa.
