By far his best performance this season as he not only delivered as an individual but worked for the team. He ran at defenders which he has done a lot but he was also unselfish in front of goal and when he lost the ball he really worked to get it back or helped out when others lost it. As good as several of our other players were think he was MOTM, wish he'd got a goal to cap his performance

Perfect game for him tonight - exploited a young, inexperienced full back and was given the freedom to do so by the way we set up and Newcastle not helping out their full back.

Great choice of game to use him by Martinez. I'd say tonight was possibly Ged's best game for us - a couple of hours after me saying I don't think we'd miss him too much if he left based on what he'd contributed.

He was unbelievable tonight. He just needs to add a left foot. There was one point where a defender was almost square to his right about 16 yards out from goal and allowing him a shot on his left, and he used his right...!
