I think i'll try and watch Spain U21 vs Germany U21, If he plays, he will play better than he does in the prem simply because the football is a lot different. Betis are struggling so I highly doubt they would send him there. We don't have the correct players to play like Barca yet.
Put yourself in his shoes, Would you rather go too Everton and freeze to death playing with the likes of Osman and Naismith or stay in Spain? No brainer for me.

As for him being more suited to La Liga I wouldnt be so sure on that. He is currently not a team player so would not be able to fit into a slow building side whether in La Liga or here as we have seen so far in a way.

He is head down and quite selfish like a young Cronaldo so really whether he learns team play in this league or La Liga is not that much of a difference.

Seem to recall reports or a post on here (@bicycleheader ?) that he had a chance of a loan for a Spanish team and that was the expected option but instead he chose Everton cos of Martinez and was interested in the Premier League.

Even if he did choose us once the reality of a British winter might have changed his mind!
