I would like to apologise in advance for my on-topic comments in this thread.

Made up for the lad. But I would urge caution as League 2 and especially Tranmere are very poor fodder to realistically assess his talents. No doubt this will do his confidence a world of good and maybe next season he can really test his metal on loan in the Championship.

Give him time lads, he is still only 19. The biggest problem that Rooney and Barkley left us is that some fans expect our youth players to be the finished article at 18. Some take a little longer to break through.
