Looks capable already, i look forward to seeing him score at Goodison for Newcastle.
Garbutt has been in the team to deputise. Browning a couple of appearances, Barkley given a starting place, all this season. I know that isnt a huge amount but you are never going to get 5-6 youth players near the team unless you arent planning on staying upWho has Martinez bought through? Browning for 20 minutes twice and never again?
He might talk about bringing youth players through but there is no evidence that he will do this.
Pulis is looking to get rid of him this summer apparently, poor lad is very injury prone.Way to shoot me down :'(
Fair enough though, Rodwell was hindered by his hammy. He was at least a solid player prior, and we got a decent fee at least.
We probably should have kept cheebs, I know that might not be a popular decision to many but I would have preferred him over Kone.
Duffy should have stayed.
Edit: We should have kept/bought that Dier lad as well. FFS MOYLES
Probably an improvement on cheebs for them, shame Vic is still getting injuries. I rate the guy.Pulis is looking to get rid of him this summer apparently, poor lad is very injury prone.

Suggestions Lambert is going to be his replacement.

Ross, Stones, Garbutt and a bit of Browning. Hes only been here a season too so you cant expect several players to suddenly come throughWho has Martinez bought through? Browning for 20 minutes twice and never again?

Liked him but he needed regular football so hoped the move would be good for him as he wouldn't have got it with us.Probably an improvement on cheebs for them, shame Vic is still getting injuries. I rate the guy.
If him and Vaughan had been able to stay fit!Liked him but he needed regular football so hoped the move would be good for him as he wouldn't have got it with us.
He's 27 soon and should be in his prime but with his injuries unfortunately looks like he'll never be able to play regularly.

Bolded ones defo won't make it, Browning and Green might, Henen might but not at EFC, Ledson and Barkley will, Dowell tooI'm imagining.
Used to imagine Ball, Hibbert, Rooney, Osman, Dunne
then
Rodwell, Vaughan, Anichebe, Duffy, Gerrard, Kissock,
now
Ledson, Barkley, Browning, Green, Henen, Grant, Lundstram,Duffus, Long blah blah blah
I imagine with the exception of the standout talents that most wont carve out a premier league career !
Whats wrong with Long mate?Bolded ones defo won't make it, Browning and Green might, Henen might but not at EFC, Ledson and Barkley will, Dowell too

Only my opinion, but when I've watched him he hasn't quite looked the quality needed to break through as a forward in the prem, which is harder to do than in any other position mind. Could be wrong like.Whats wrong with Long mate?
